Amana Hotel Airport

Amana Hotel Airport is a three-star hotel in Tan Binh, 5.7 km north-west of the city centre, with rooms 150 m from Tan Son Nhat International Airport. It suits travellers with an early or late flight who want a comfortable room within a few minutes of the terminals.

The six room types run from 18 m² doubles with one large king-size bed to a 25 m² suite with a separate bedroom and a 45 m² family room for up to five guests. All of them have a private bathroom with a shower, air conditioning, soundproofed walls, a TV, free toiletries and a hairdryer. The 25 m² Deluxe Twin Room has two single beds instead of a large bed.

The hotel is non-smoking throughout and has a 24-hour front desk, room service and free WiFi, with English and Vietnamese spoken at reception. Check-in runs from 14:00 to 23:00 and check-out is by 12:00, and family rooms and non-smoking rooms are available.

Every bathroom has a shower, and free toiletries, towels, slippers, a hairdryer and a clothes rack complete the rooms, so the choice between them comes down mainly to size and bed layout.

Reception is staffed around the clock, and English and Vietnamese are spoken there, so arrivals outside normal hours are handled without delay. Room service is offered, and the hotel is non-smoking throughout, with non-smoking rooms and family rooms among the options.

The immediate surroundings are a mix of small eateries: within 50 m are three cafés, Cong Ca Phe, Coffee Hiền An and Jatujak Retro Bar, and three restaurants, among them Phở Bắc Hải, Thùy Linh-Bánh Đa Cua Hải Phòng and Đậu Homemade - Hồng Hà. Walking to any of them takes a minute or two, so food and coffee are never far away.

The rest of the city is reached by a longer ride. The city centre lies 5.7 km away, Saigon Railway Station 3.6 km away and Bến xe Tân Phú, the bus station, also 3.6 km away, so trains and long-distance buses are a taxi ride from the hotel. Ferry terminal Bến đò Sa Tân Miếu is 3.4 km away for anyone who wants to cross the river by boat. Taking a taxi from the hotel is the simplest way to reach any of these points with luggage.

For a short walk or a family outing, Playground @ Saigon Superbowl and Kids Yard are both 550 m away, and Gia Định Park 2 lies 950 m away with paths under trees. Pho Quang Pagoda is 900 m away in the neighbourhood. For a day in town, the War Remnants Museum is 4.7 km away and is one of the city's best-known sights, with Tao Dan Park and the Ho Chi Minh City Museum a little further on, toward the centre.
